Martin has been in the professional real-estate field since 2005. The industrial and warehouse real estate market back then consisted of 350,000 sq m of development parks, while today it is more than 3 million sq m. Martin's main personal values are long-term relationships with customers and comprehensive services - from the assignment to its resolution to the maximum satisfaction of the client. To date, he has assisted clients on over 1mil sqm of premises and 3.5mil sqm of land transactions.

Some of the most significant projects in which Martin has been involved include:

  • Faurecia - over 100,000 sqm of tailor-made plants in the Czech and Slovak Republic
  • Ingram Micro/About You - new distribution centre in Slovakia
  • Dubnica Industrial Park - setup of a 115,000 sq m facility
  • BMW - spare parts distribution centre in Senica
  • Whirlpool - establishment of a centre in Slovakia and subsequent extension of the lease agreement
  • Terno - new distribution centre in Bratislava
  • CTP - acquisition of more than 93ha of land
  • Garbe - acquisition of land for the upcoming logistics park

Martin Šafárik

Martin has been in the industrial real estate market since 2006. Before joining Space Brokers, he worked for two international companies Colliers International and CBRE. As one of the longest serving real estate consultants in Slovakia, he has known the commercial real estate market almost from the very beginning. He has experience in all types of client/tenant scenarios such as leasing, sale, renegotiation, relocation, property exchange, greenfield development. In addition to representing tenants, he also has experience representing the other side, the investor/landlord. As a graduate of STU's Faculty of Civil Engineering, he uses his experience and technical knowledge to communicate technical requirements to clients.

He has been involved in more than 820,000 sqm of leased, renegotiated or subleased warehouse space and also in the sale of more than 260 ha of land.

Within Space Brokers he focuses on Slovakia, and is dedicated to current clients.

 

Among the most significant projects Martin has participated in are:

  • Faurecia - 4 new production plants in SK and CZ, renegotiations, leases
  • BMW - distribution warehouse in Senec
  • Kuehne+Nagel - premises in Senec and Dubnica nad Váhom

Lucia Voslářová

Marketing Director CZ & SK

Lucia has been working in commercial real estate marketing since 2014. Previously, she worked at the real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield, where she was responsible for coordinating and processing marketing activities as well as developing B2B retail marketing and its "best practice" implications across the CEE regions. Her work has been instrumental in winning a number of important retail mandates and clients. She later moved to the corporate marketing team where she was responsible for building corporate communications.

At Space Brokers, Lucia is responsible for complex marketing activities and strategies to build the company's name and create awareness of Space Brokers' business activities in the Czech and Slovak markets.

Jana Slavíková

Partner | Industrial

Hands-on professional of real estate market with 10-year working experience. Jana has worked for leading international real estate consultancy companies, including Cushman & Wakefield and JLL as part of their industrial leasing and advisory teams. Jana has completed several acquisitions of new premises for clients entering the Czech market. She is currently also responsible for further business expansion of the existing clients, including renewals of lease contracts. 

In her current position Jana is responsible for Prague-West, Pardubice, Hradec Kralove, South of Czech and part of Prague-South regions. Previously Jana has also worked for DHL, RBS, Lobkowicz Palace and others.

 

Most significant projects include:

  • Esa logistika – looks after the existing business portfolio in the Czech Republic and secures new premises in Prague

  • Orifarm – prolongation of existing lease contracts in Prague

  • FreshFruit Logistic – lease renewal of the premises in Prague

  • Mueller Technik – negotiation of new warehouse in Stochov

 

Michal Barthell

Partner | Industrial

Michal has been working at the industrial real estate market since 2011. This is the year, when this market started to evolve in the Czech Republic; from 1.8 mil. sqm in 2011 to more than 9 mil. sqm in 2021. Michal is an expert in securing complex services for his clients; from initial project/market overviews and proposal evaluations to final closure of lease contracts. Throughout his career, Michal has been working on different transactions, exceeding 500,000 sqm. 

In his current position Michal is looking after existing clients, primarily focusing on Northern region of the Czech Republic.

 

Most significant projects include:

  • Alza.cz – lease renewal of the existing portfolio

  • Mall.cz – securing new distribution center

  • Emerge – securing new production site in Mlada Boleslav

  • Eyelevel – securing new distribution center

  • Rohlik.cz – securing new distribution center for Prague East

Martin Šumera

Martin is working at the industrial real estate market since 2005, successfully securing lease contracts exceeding 1 mil. sqm. At the start of his career, there were only few modern logistic premises in the Czech Republic. During his career Martin has experienced both; an enormous rise of the industrial real estate market as well as its decline during the real estate crisis. Martin is adept to different market situations; he is keen on building long-term relationship with his clients and prefers individual approach to each client. Martin believes that every client is unique and deserves a custom-made solution. 

At his current position Martin is responsible for tenant representations. He overlooks the Pilsen region and Prague East. 

 

Most significant projects include:

  • Ball Beverages – securing new distribution warehouse in Pilsen

  • Helicar – securing distribution warehouse of white technics in Prague and Brno

  • Englmayer – opening of premises in Prague and Brno 

  • Thermo Fischer Scientific – securing production, office and research centrum in Brno 

  • DSV Solution – securing warehouse premises in Pilsen and Prague

 

Marek Sýkora

Partner | Industrial

Marek started his career in real estate in 2013 by leasing out smaller and older logistics premises. Later he added more modern premises to his portfolio and focused on Moravian region where he comes from. He specializes in logistics companies; however, he is also interested in projects comprising of production and storage space. These projects are generally more difficult to work with but seem to be much more fulfilling. Marek is open minded and trustworthy. 

In Space Brokers Marek focuses on Moravia-Silesia region, Olomouc and South Moravia region but also still works for his clients in Prague. On top of this, he looks after older premises and brownfield.

Christoph Vávra

Christoph brings over 25 years of experience in senior management roles at leading international companies such as DEA/RWE, Danone, IGEPA, Vodafone and Hoedlmayr. His expertise lies in the successful expansion of these firms across Central and Eastern Europe. As a key member of the executive leadership, Christoph has been instrumental in driving several major logistics and industrial business projects, taking on co-responsibility as an investor. He specializes in the automotive, automation, automotive and FMCG sectors, delivering tailored strategic solutions for industrial development. 

Ondřej Straširybka

Partner | Office

Ondrej started to work at commercial real estate market in 2014. He’s leased out over 50,000 sqm of office space for more than 100 clients. Ondrej is a client-oriented manager with his client’s interests at heart. In Space Brokers he is focusing on tenant representation and special search for tailored office space based on individual needs and requirements of each client.

  • CCS debit cards, Ltd. – relocation of the headquarter in Prague

Vojta Kaluža

Consultant

Vojta has been a member of the Space Brokers team since November 2020. His main focus is on leasing smaller and larger industrial spaces throughout the Czech Republic. Furthermore, Vojta collaborates on projects of his senior colleagues and is not afraid of new project challenges. He is a responsible team player who likes to keep things in order and will see everything through to a successful conclusion. To date, Vojta has over 5,000 sqm of leased space, several secured mandates and is always working on new things with 100% commitment.
